Members of the Florence Police Auxiliary will occasionally and at random times check to see that your home is secure. Even with these occasional checks, there is no guarantee that nothing will hpapen to your home while you are away.

When does the police department do fingerprinting? Is there a charge?
Fingerprinting is done at the Florence Police Department on Tuesdays from 10am to 5pm. Appointments are not required. The charge is $5.00 per card unless it is done for a non-profit organization, for government employment, or ordered by the Municipal Court Judge.↑ Back to full topic & question list.
Can police check that my home is secure while I am on vacation?
Citizens may either come in to the Florence Justice Center for a "Vacation Watch" form, complete it, and give to the communications officer on duty or you can just download the form from our website and then bring it in to the Justice Center, fax it to the Florence Police Department at 541-997-4104, or mail it to the Florence Police Department, 900 Greenwood Street, Florence, OR 97439.You will be asked to provide the dates you will be out of the area, how to contact you, or who is a local contact person in Florence to respond to an emergency should a problem be discovered. How do I get a copy of a police report?
Citizens may request a copy of a police report by making the request by mail or in person at the front counter at the Florence Justice Center. Criminal History, Drivers License Records, or any other information from all Oregon State databases are not releaseable. The fee schedule for public records requests are as follows:| • Computer Aided Dispatch Incident Printout • Crime/Arrest Reports • Audio Tapes • Video Tapes • Copies of Citations |
