Disclaimer

The Florence Police Department accepts the following reports online: Theft, Bicycle Theft, Criminal Mischief and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle.

• The total amount of loss/stolen or damaged property cannot exceed $500.00.
• You do not know the identity of the suspect who committed this offense.
• You must be able to provide your full name, address, phone number and date of birth.
• You must have a valid email address to file an online report.

While a driver's license or social security number is not mandatory, they will help us ensure that you and your case are not confused with another who has the same or similar name.

If the crime involves an automobile, the License Plate or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) (which can be found on the registration) is required.

ORS 162.305 TAMPERING WITH PUBLIC RECORDS

A person commits the crime of Tampering with Public Records if, without lawful authority, the person knowingly destroys, mutilates, conceals, removes, MAKES A FALSE ENTRY IN OR FALSELY ALTERS ANY PUBLIC RECORD.

TAMPERING WITH A PUBLIC RECORD IS A CLASS A MISDEMEANOR.

If you knowingly enter any false information on this report you can be prosecuted on a misdemeanor charge.
